BETONEXT Production has successfully completed the Technology Incubation programme
BETONEXT Production, a member of the GREATIVITY GROUP, has successfully completed the two-year Technology Incubation programme run by CzechInvest.
In collaboration with the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences (ÚACH AV ČR), BETONEXT Production developed a technology for the manufacture of building materials from recycled raw materials and industrial by-products. The aim of the project was to create a sustainable alternative to conventional building materials with a lower carbon footprint and greater application of circular economy principles.
During the programme, several alternative binder systems were developed, more than 90 laboratory samples were prepared and tested, and the properties of new mortars and building blocks were verified. At the same time, technological procedures, production regulations and a design for a future production line were drawn up.
The project has reached TRL 6, which means the technology has been successfully validated in laboratory and pilot-scale environments. BETONEXT Production has thus laid a solid foundation for follow-up pilot projects and the future industrial application of the technology.
We would like to thank CzechInvest for its support and the expert team at the Institute of Applied Chemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences for their collaboration in developing technology that helps to return construction waste to the production cycle and opens up new possibilities for a more sustainable construction industry.
