Organizer of PRAGUE CHALLENGE in fleret is NEXT TOUCHE
on 22 and 23.3.25 the first year of the PRAGUE CHALLENGE fencing tournament in junior fencing will take place in Prague's Královka hall. This tournament is organized as part of the newly emerging European Cup, which is supplemented by fencers under 23 years of age.
Fencing competitors from 16 countries will compete in Prague. For the Czech junior and cadet national team this is an interesting opportunity to measure their strength with European competition in preparation for the World Championships, which will be held in early April in China. The home fans can look forward to seeing, for example, Lev Holý, the junior national team member and fresh winner of the international tournament in Brno.
The tournament is organized by the Czech Fencing Association and the NEXT TOUCHE organization. This non-profit organization has been a partner of the federation for the second year and participates, for example, in the project of the Olympic Fencing Centre, where the excellent Italian coach Giovanni Bortolaso works.
"Part of our effort, besides trying to improve training methods and conditions, is also an effort to raise the profile of our beautiful sport. That is why we welcomed the opportunity to organize a tournament in Prague as part of the newly emerging European Junior Cup series. We believe that the whole tour and its Prague stop will gradually gain strength and importance. We definitely invite all fencing fans to come and support our young hopefuls." says the director and founder of NEXT TOUCHE, z.ú.
